About

Hello, hello! I’m K.

BADvertising is a little place where I make fun of poorly conceived advertisements. I try to be helpful and offer tips for improvement.

As a 20-something Gen Y’er who grew up bathed in advertisements, I feel it is my moral duty to point out the bad ones. And make fun of them.

Me in a nutshell:

  • Recent grad
  • Overachieving and analytical
  • ENTJ, despite many retests. And despite changing my answers in sheer skepticism that Myers Briggs is accurate
  • Toronto native, and I love it here.
  • Trilingual (English, French, & Russian) and working towards a 4th language (Spanish)
  • I am not a communist
  • Lover of Mad Men (not just for the nostalgic and no-nonsense ad campaigns!), jazz, psychological thrillers, foreign languages, colourful stories, intellectual conversations, red wine, and the roaring 20’s
  • Dedicated baker: Currently dabbling in Julia Child’s recipes
  • Curious traveler: I’ve been to 15 countries so far!
  • Addicted to pumpkin spiced anything
  • Yoga novice. My mat is orange and I can stand on one leg without falling over.
  • I can talk to anyone about anything. Oh, and…
  • I love meeting new people

That is all!

Don’t be shy, say hello! I don’t bite.

I'd love to hear what you think. Leave a comment!
